For the LiquidReflection project I asked myself the question: "How can I relate the experience of Kairos time to the heartbeat and visualize the results in a wearable?". For the understanding of this project it is important to know the meaning of Kairos: [Kairos] A propitious moment for decision or action. Origin, 1930s: Greek, literally 'opportunity'. Visually the wearable relates to the bloodstream of the body. The speed of the liquid traveling to the tube is dependent of your heart rate. When your heart beats really fast the liquid will also travel fast, when your relaxed and your heartbeat is slower the liquid will travel slower as well. The goal of the LiquidReflection wearable is to create awareness of the relation between the experience of time and your body.
