SolidariTea is an event that I organised together with six other Interaction Designers. We wanted to combine the experience of being unconsciously nice to other people with a rewarding multi sensorial experience. Since tea is known in many rituals, traditions and holds different historical meaning we used tea as a tool for being solidair to other people. You would enter the room and you would get yourself an empty cup, this cup would have either: 'spicy', 'herbal' or 'floral' written on it's side. You would then continue to the 'spicy', 'herbal' or 'floral' booth and choose your own personalised tea blend. Once you finished brewing your tea you would hand the cup to someone else in the room as a gift. This person would continue to the multi-sensorial experience room that belongs to the flavour of the tea, so either: 'spicy', 'herbal' or 'floral'. In this room you could enjoy your tea while listening to the soundscape, seeing the visuals and touching the different surfaces. You share this experience together with fellow tea-flavour companions. The event was successful, joyful and just the right amount of experimental.
